A musician of national and international acclaim, Heather Birt combines a career in chamber music, with orchestral, baroque performance and jazz.

Heather performs regularly with many notable groups, including The English Concert, The Sixteen, Charivari Agréable and The Gabrieli Consort.  Her quartet, OXUS gives regular recitals and workshops, and she plays bass in various jazz ensembles up and down the country at festivals and clubs.
